@theweirdinggay I think 8 episodes is fine. My biggest concern is that the story somewhat lacks spectacle after Dragonstone. Something for Ryan Condal to take into account as he won't want a badly received finale.

@Macavit25431185 Also Ulf is on his own now. He has done his sleeping through the battle bit, but he can't now go drinking with a Green commander. So all that is left is for him to be assassinated by poison in a random tavern. Maybe even in S4 ep1 to tie up his loose end.

@Macavit25431185 I am confident as well. My only worry is whether they can give the final episode enough spectacle for the audience. That is a problem for Ryan Condal to resolve - he must have considered moving the dragonstone end game to episode 8.

@meleysjj @Targ_Loyalist Yes, because it is totally possible to believe that dragons are magical creatures which can breath fire but impossible to believe they can go into a magical stasis to heal non-catastrophic injuries. Lol.

@WeThrones I am not reading asoiaf until GRRM finishes the story. ie probably never. This means my only "canon" is the TV shows GOT and HOTD ( and I suppose AKOTSK which barely interests me). And I am very happy with that.
