@1889_MN @SkyCricket This is my thought too, from the front it looks still in the groove, but from the top I don’t believe it would as the stump moved backwards. The 3rd umpire never looked at that angle. Definitely out in my opinion

@SkyCricket to me it seems like the third umpire didn’t look from above to see if the stump had gone backwards and so the bail would be out of the groove, because from the front it would still look to be in it??
