I'm still healing from a year of autistic burnout. My episodes of derealization have been worsening. They last for weeks now. GI issues accompany them. It's likely a good thing that I'm in a moratorium with vocational rehabilitation and job services.

I'm not the only #Trekkie to point out that every captain having a unique go phrase is a new idea. Kirk, Picard, Janeway, and Sisko all generally said "Engage." I like current #StarTrek. I'm not a hater. This one thing is just weird to me.

@emgntdivergence Last year, I replied to this tweet, saying, "I don't know about other autistic people, but I really dislike being infantilized." The original tweeter got upset and insisted that we do indeed commonly meow at each other. This community has much unacknowleged toxicity.
