Award-winning former Media Operations Officer, but will always be a fervent champion of the Royal Navy and Royal Naval Reserves in the UK and overseas.
Isn’t it incredible that in the middle of one whole month (June) dedicated to Pride, the U.K. will soon have only one day (24th June) for the Armed Forces?
There are 2 million veterans. 160,000 serving sailors,
soldiers and airmen.
300 amputees alone from Afghanistan.
17,000 service personnel killed from conflicts and accidents since WW II.
5,000 homeless veterans.
Thousands with mental health problems (PTSD)
Veterans from wars in WWII, Korea, Malaya, Borneo, Cyprus, Aden, NI, Falklands, Iraq & Afghanistan.
Instead we have the spectacle of the trans and alphabet brigade, many prancing around our streets for a whole month!
Over the past 25 years our priorities have changed dramatically and the culture wars have taken priority.

Hello @PaversShoes do you allow military discount? - shopped recently and presented my MOD issue veterans ID card.
They said it wasn’t the right card. The card was issued by the Ministry of Defence for 34 years service. Was pretty disappointed in the manager’s attitude.
@PennyMordaunt Immensely proud of you today - you looked immaculate, that heavy sword held so still - it was indeed mesmerising. I would have been shaking like a leaf! BZ indeed!
@CdreRichHarris@HMSMontrose Great to see the local news of her homecoming - even here in Wales we get Spotlight news - a return is always emotional. Have a wonderful Christmas together x
@RAdmJudeTerry great article in The Sunday Times Ma’am. Let’s get the Christmas party started! Best wishes from your retired former colleague - cheering you onwards and upwards!
#RoyalNavy sailors will have the honour of pulling the State Ceremonial Gun Carriage bearing HM The Queen’s coffin on Monday, a duty they have performed since the funeral of Queen Victoria in 1901.
