@Gerashchenko_en Of course they can! They did it back in 1939/40 without any major international help! Some help from Sweden including about 10,000 volunteers and that's basically all. Suomussalmi, Tolvajarvi, Kollaa, Summa, Taipale and Pitkaranta - they kicked soviets ass everywhere!

🇫🇮 Finland celebrates its declaration of independence from Russia on 6 December 1917

For decades, Finns had resisted efforts by Russia to erase their autonomy. Forced Russification policies included measures to combat the Finnish language and Finnish political institutions.

A brutal civil war started within 2 months of the Declaration of Independence. The nationalist and conservative Whites led by the legendary Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim defeated the socialist and communist reds wing with their Russian allies.
