For 67 years, Dale Schroeder showed up to the same carpentry job in Iowa. He never married, never had children, drove an old pickup truck, owned just two pairs of jeans, and carried the same lunch box to work every day.

Few people knew that while living such a simple life, he had quietly saved nearly 3000000 dollars.

Before his death in 2005, Dale visited his lawyer with one request. He said he had never been able to attend college because his family couldn't afford it, and he wanted other young people to have the opportunity he never had.

His entire fortune was placed into a scholarship fund for Iowa students who had the ability to succeed but lacked the money to pursue higher education.

Over the following years, 33 students earned college degrees because of a man they had never met. They became doctors, teachers, therapists, engineers, and other professionals. They now call themselves "Dale's Kids" and gather each year around his old metal lunch box to remember the carpenter whose generosity changed their lives.

Dale never asked for recognition. His only wish was that those students would one day help someone else, just as he had helped them.

Eric Trump just flipped the script on Chris Cuomo live on-air, leaving him shocked.

Cuomo accused President Trump of going after his political opponents the moment he took office…

Eric sounded off:

“Did we, did we try and bankrupt Biden? Did we raid Biden's home? Did we try and bankrupt Biden?”

“Did we weaponize every AG and DA against Biden? Do we do that against Hunter Biden who had a laptop from hell, pictures of cocaine, illicit drug use, prostitution?”

“Did we make up a dirty dossier? About Biden, did they try and destroy Biden's marriage? Did we make up stories that Biden had secret servers in the basement of his home communicating with the Kremlin in Russia?”

So, Sen Tillis says he is now unfiltered due to him retiring and he can now say things he couldn't before due to "political considerations."

In other words, Tillis admits to lying to voters for the last 12 years to get re-elected and now that he isn't running again he can finally tell the voters exactly how he feels about them.

Not sure this is the flex he thinks it is.

I just listened to this...here are some highlights.

What Cruz generally describes is what I posted as soon as Thune sent everyone home on Thursday--a temper tantrum led by Sens. Cassidy, Tillis, and Paul (over Massie loss) with acting AG Blanche taking the brunt over the anti weaponization fund. (Cornyn was not there.)

Cruz discloses that senators were "screaming" at Blanche over the fund. "It was not calm, there were yelling."

However, Cruz also describes the meltdown as an expression of "cathartic anger" over Trump's success in ridding the Senate of three incumbents. (Actually four including McConnell, unclear if he was in attendance.) Cruz admits there are "consequences" for the president's endorsements of opponents of sitting GOP senators.

In what is truly astonishing given the appalling legislative record of the US Senate--which has helped send hundreds of billions to Ukraine over the past few years without hesitation or oversight and voted to INCREASE the budget of the Biden DOJ/FBI/DHS as they hunted down Trump supporters--is that 20 GOP senators were prepared to side with Democrat-sponsored amendments attached to the ICE/CBP reconciliation measure to either limit or block the anti weaponization fund.

20 GOP SENATORS PLANNED TO SIDE WITH DEMOCRATS TO BLOCK RELIEF TO THEIR OWN CONSTITUENTS WHO WERE SUBJECTS OF UNPRECEDENTED GOVERNMENT ABUSES.

Cruz also said senators were angry at Blanche for giving legal answers about the nature of the fund (how dare he) and not political answers. "Their anger was not legal it was political," Cruz said of his childish colleagues.

It now appears that Thune will not bring the ICE/CBP funding bill to the floor until the anti weaponization fund is drastically limited--including no relief to J6ers accused of assaulting police.

Cruz calls it a "full on revolt in the Senate without modifications to the fund."

Aren't you so glad this is what gets our Senate majority so worked up? What a joke.
