A little sizzle on the steak before the David Barns Michigan Showcase is now just over 2 weeks away. Our MOP award winner from last year 2023 class Jashaun Boggerty. Nice looking ring he received for the MOP.

The most powerful and profound attribute we have as human beings is agency. Agency means you have the capacity to take action to pursue and achieve goals. You have the ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles … to grow and get better … to change and adapt … to impact the environment around you … to make a positive difference in the lives of other people. Agency means your life is ultimately determined by your choices, not your circumstances.
Agency, however, isn’t absolute. Despite the pretentious claims and extravagant promises of many self-help books, there are limits and constraints to what you are capable of achieving. Having said that, agency is far more powerful than people realize. There are many who don’t come anywhere near reaching their potential. Indeed, most people are capable of doing and accomplishing far more than they think.
Therein lies the challenge: The biggest constraint to human agency and achievement is mindset. The good news is that your mindset is your choice.
What do you think you can do? What do you believe you are capable of accomplishing? Mindset is ground zero … the starting point … the catalyst … the ignition … for human agency and achievement.
Far too many people have simply quit trying. They’ve given up and given in. Instead of an “I will” mindset, they have adopted an “I can’t” or “I won’t” mindset. They have accepted mediocrity. They have settled for something less than best version of themselves.
Don’t compromise. Don’t settle for mediocrity. Take ownership of your mindset. Whatever your life situation, do the inner work and commit to “I will.”
That might be one of the worst fucking technicals in history. Kim Mulkey has been the most inappropriate, disrespectful coaches to ever step foot on a court, and no T whatsoever.
Caitlin Clark simply throws the ball behind her back and it’s jail. Fucked up.
Kim Mulkey is literally standing on the court--10 feet away from Iowa's guards.
This is an absolute abomination of officiating for both teams.
These are the best the NCAA has to offer?
After a great conversation with coach soffer @CoachGSoffer I’m blessed to receive an offer from @defiance college to continue playing ball at the next level
Battle Creek Lakeview’s Jashaun Boggerty has been one of the more impressive guards today. He’s consistently broken the defense with his dribble drive and has shown a quality mid-range pull up. @JashaunBoggerty
After a great visit to @Aquinas College, I am blessed to receive an offer to continue playing ball at the next level. I would like to thank Coach Bertoia @coachbertoia and Coach Powers @Powers_Joe for a great visit! Go Saints
