Izzo on Trey Fort, who had 12 points at Minnesota: "He has hung in there, and that's the beauty of it. ... It wasn't like he moped. It'd be kind of cool if he came on and had a good finish" like Frankie Fidler did last season.
One of the top five quarterbacks in the Class of 2028, Detroit Cass Tech.
Not the only elite recruit who is also a great student, but at a time when college sports feels like it has lost the "college" part, congrats to Donald and the many like him.

I understand Oats' point but he is misstating the facts. The rules make no distinction between American and international players. They do establish a difference between NBA players and guys who played in pro leagues but only received "actual and necessary expenses." That distinction is up to interpretation, and that's where the legal challenges come in.
The notion that "pros" can't play in college basketball, and yet many college basketball players make way more money than "pros" is also vulnerable to challenge. The NCAA is trying to draw that firm line in the sand. Will it hold up?
Also, the rules are very clear that if you play in college and go through the NBA draft, you're ineligible to return. Again, NO distinction between Americans and internationals. That one is clear. Is it legal? I guess we'll find out.
Don't worry, everyone, Congress will fix it!

Scott Harris, the head of baseball operations for Detroit, should not be taking the PR hit for the Tigers' decision to fight Skubal in arbitration. The decisions at that financial level belong to the owner. Ultimately, it was Chris Ilitch's decision to defer to the LRD/MLB. It's his team; it's his player.
Jeremy Fears Jr. has to decide how he wants to be thought of as a player. Because he’s losing the plot.

#MSUWBB junior guard Rashunda Jones goes by the name "Spider" now. A nickname her high school coach gave her.
"My coach Steve said, 'You look like a spider out there. You're long, you're fast, and I'm going to start calling you that.'
"I was like please do not do that... and he ended up still doing it and it just blew up from there."
Full feature on Spider here, and of course the rest of the MSU FCU Coaches show! ⬇️
