An epic week with Ordnance Survey!
The Ordnance Survey are running a programme of virtual work experience for 14-19 year olds exploring careers in geo-spatial.
Over a week, you will learn and experience careers and beyond with @OrdnanceSurvey and @CareersWeek, from data capture to using through to maps in apps.
Each day will include talks, interactive tasks and opportunities for you to learn from the experts. On the final day, you will be given practical advice on how to prepare for a career in this sector, and the pathways to these careers.
This is the perfect enrichment opportunity for GCSE or A-Level Geography students!

@StagecoachGM hello think my daughter may have just left a bag with her school uniform in on the 789 service from BTHCC school to Urmston. What’s the best way to get in contact / lost property etc ?
Does anyone else here wish #Esri would let you store and manage attachments outside the geodatabase (e.g in cloud blob storage) - but with all the ‘attachment’ functionality ? #gis
Well to be honest this one was long overdue; but finally got around to getting my #FME Certified Professional accreditation from https://t.co/62s00ciq9L 📚 💻 🚀 https://t.co/WhZGU4SGPJ
After 3.5 years it is with mixed emotions that I say goodbye to the team at 1Spatial; truly a great company doing really interesting and innovative things! Proud to have played my part on some successful and challenging projects.
Time for a few days rest…https://t.co/t31HDmzvQt
