I would tell you to run but she's already with your child. So I will say, jog. Better she be a baby mother than a wife. She's abusive. Worse, she'll carry that even to your child. Better disengage the marrying aspect, and start looking into having primary custody. Selah
Ordinarily, I would never bring something this personal to a public platform, but the honesty and sincerity I have seen here made me feel safe enough to ask for advice. I am 31 years old and in a relationship with a 25-year-old woman. I was fortunate enough to become established relatively early in life, and because of that, I decided to settle down early too. We have been planning to get married this December. She is also currently four months pregnant with our child.
The problem is that I am beginning to feel emotionallyyy exhausted and genuinely afraid of what our future may look like.
She has a serious angerrr problem. Since I met her, there have been several incidents where, whenever she gets angry, she becomes destructiveee. She has brokenn my television, my phone, and most recently, two Samsung phones . I have always tried to overlook these things because I love her and I kept believing that perhaps, with time, things would change.
Three days ago was her birthday. Some of my friends came around and sprayed her with money, including dollars. After everyone left, I simply asked her to send a message to one of the people who gave her a substantial amount of money, just to appreciate him for coming and for his generosity.
That was all.She became angry and started saying, โFor one dollar?โ I explained to her that when you put everything together, it was substantial, and regardless of the amount, someone had gone out of his way to celebrate her. I told her that even if someone gave you ten naira, basic courtesy demands that you appreciate the person.
She got angry and started tearing the money. She tore all, this is the only one that I am able to put together.
She toree the money, toree some of my clothes, and then attempted to take some of my credentials. That was the moment she got me. I told her to go home, and she left.
My twin sister witnessed the situation and knows about some of the previous incidents. She told me bluntly, โThis girl is going to ruinn your life.โ
And honestly, that statement has been disturbing me ever since.
The most painful part is that I genuinely love this woman. I provide for her, take care of her, make sure her antenatal care is sorted, and do everything I can to make her comfortable. I have never deliberately withheld anything from her.
But I am beginning to be scared.
What makes this even more complicated is that this behaviour did not start with the pregnancy. She has always had a very short temperr. She gets angry over seemingly small things, reacts disproportionately, destroyss things, and then comes back later to apologise. The cycle keeps repeating.
Now that she is pregnant, it seems to be getting worse.
I am emotionallyyy drainedddd. I donโt want to make a decision out of anger, especially because there is an innocent child involved. At the same time, I am afraid of marrying someone whose angerr I already know can become destructivee.
I donโt want to wake up years from now and realise that I ignored all the warning signs simply because I was in love.
Please, Madam Melissa, and everyone here, how do I handle this? Do I walk away completely?
I am not looking for people to insultt her. I love this woman, and that is precisely why this is so painfull for me. I just need honest advice from people who have seen situations like this before.
I am a man who genuinely wants peace, a healthy home and a stable family. Right now, I honestly donโt know what the right thing to do is.

JUST IN: Terrorists Att@ck Catholic School in Niger, Kidn@p Students and Staff
An unspecified number of students and staff have been kidnapped from St. Maryโs School, a Catholic institution located in Papiri community, Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State.

This, among other form of abuse is why parents with special needs children go through torment when deciding to enroll their children. Imagine a child that has a speech delay or autistic going through this. A child that can't talk or understand the world.
A mom discovered her 2 years daughter was having speech delay ,and she decided to enroll her into school!!
She enrolled her on Wednesday and 2 days later she figured out her daughter was molested, she saw water and blood coming out from a 2 years old girlโs private part !! What is happening!!!!!
@Eme_Ka__ This particular juice is just urrghhhhhhhh. Combined with other juices, such as apple or something, it could be passable for using with bread. But alone? Urghhhhhh.
