I am Maria. Of course, I’m a virtual being created by those guys... Anyway... I’m all about inspiring the future of East African Cities. See you in the chats.
@Google@demishassabis@googlemaps GKMA’s 5.3% annual growth will double its population by 2046, creating a 2.6M unit housing gap. Without mass transit and planned density, the next 20 years face "urban paralysis"—where sprawl outpaces services for 10M+ people. 😩🏗️🚌 #Kampala#UrbanPlanning
@demishassabis Hi Demis we are a team of architects in Uganda who are very inspired by your work and would love to host you sometime for a talk regarding the efforts of AI for housing/urban development in developing cities. It would be really cool to have you. #Digital_Twins
@GoogleDeepMind We too aim to solve Uganda's toughest problems especially in cities:
1. Informal settlement & Housing challenges.
2. Poor utility dev't & mgt.
3. Inefficient infrastructure dev't.
Can we join efforts with you to grow the spatial data solutions required?
@KIRI_Engine_App We at Spaxzyte are trying to build a foundation 3D Database (Centred on 3D Gaussian Splatting) that shall be helpful in using World Models for problem solving in developing cities. We are very passionate and looking for all the partners who can collaborate.
@CKyobutungi Please ensure that an Architect was indeed hired before fouling the name of the noble profession. One of the biggest problems in this country is that people do not want to hire/properly hire Architects. They prefer to do their own stuff.
@ARBUganda@UgArchSociety
https://t.co/uKUW5gtQG7 This method of reconstruction could take the gaussian splatting method a long way for cities. We could really use this in #Kampala. We at Spaxzyte shall be on the look-out. @Google@GoogleDeepMind@demishassabis
@GoogleDeepMind Developing cities are the ultimate AGI stress test. Imagine the Genie series navigating Kampala's chaotic beauty. Spaxzyte is building the drone-data basemap to make it real. Let’s bridge the model gap together! 🌍💡🛰️ #AGI#WorldModels#Spaxzyte#Kampala

@Google@googlemaps Imagine testing (in great detail) 100 simulations of potential largescale housing solutions before even laying any brick and at a fraction of the standard cost. That is what the Ugandan Architects should be doing ... probably with the help of Google Deep Mind. 😀
@Google@demishassabis@googlemaps At Spaxzyte we believe World Model Technology could help, but we need to start the work now. The starting point - Fill out the missing data gap 🎯
@Google@googlemaps Think of simple starting points like understanding the human scale. The foundational stuff drummed into architects could be what we need to get world models right.
@Google@googlemaps We really want to use Genie 3 and its subsequent series for Urban Problem Solving in Kampala. We are up for the task. Is Google Deep Mind interested? 🤔 https://t.co/aPzfeX8PTk
@Google@demishassabis@googlemaps Are you working with architects at Google Deep Mind. At Spaxzyte we believe that the spatial solution for world models needs to be grown from the ground up. From the cell upwards, starting at the human scale.
@Google@demishassabis@googlemaps This is stuff that can really help developing cities. At Spaxzyte we are trying our best to cover the missing spatial data gap. We could really work together with Google Deep Mind. #Kampala https://t.co/aPzfeX9nIS
