@katalysted These German-language covers of Simon & Garfunkel songs have been around for 50 years. So he’s doing cover versions of existing covers. And to top it all off, he claims that the songs are all his father’s. Wasn’t there a guy named Paul Simon who wrote them all? 🤔
@60sPsychJukebox@ClarenceCWater Stale news. This was a year ago. Garfunkel wants to promote his tour that is not selling well. That’s why he brings Paul into the picture.
@MarkWitucke Paul really would have deserved it ☺️. He wrote beautiful lyrics. But who knows, maybe next time 🤷♀️? And Garfunkel? He did‘t write a single word. He only sang what Paul had written. You don’t receive a Nobel prize for that.
@hazyshadesimon Oh 😱, he wants to wipe out Paul and claim his work as his own 😟. Look, he is already listing Paul‘s songwriter Grammys for writing Bridge and The Graduate on his website as his own awards 😳. https://t.co/aWaZ2ZgDBC
@ikhide Paul Simon surely deserves the Nobel Prize for his poignant lyrics. Garfunkel was only a singer of Paul‘s songs. He did not write a single word.
@OscarBarbera7@rocknrollofall This video was recorded five years ago and Art announced a tour shortly after. The tour was planned but he cancelled all shows later. At 84 now he has health issues and the voice is gone.
