My paper is about the cost that #nationalism imposes on our #creativity in the ethics of immigration
Imagine there are no nationalists to whom you need to respond: what political or philosophical issue would you discuss regarding #migration?

In this month’s #ERSeditorschoice Speranta Dumitru @spe07 analyses migration flows from the Philippines in two gendered occupations: domestic helpers and computer programmers. The division of labour is neither gendered nor international. Read it for free: https://t.co/UISIQKix9z
Law professors wrote questions they were asked during office hours. Gemini 2.5 & humans answered them then other law professors blindly judged the results:
-Gemini had a 75% win rate vs. professors
-Gemini's answers were rated LESS harmful than humans
-Newer models do even better

🚨 BREAKING: Hungary has once again banned imports of Ukrainian products
According to Euractiv, Peter Magyar’s government restored restrictions introduced under Orbán. The ban had been lifted after the change of power, but was later called a “legislative mistake.”
The restrictions affect meat, eggs, grain, flour, corn, sunflower products, and rapeseed oil. Hungarian authorities say the measures protect local farmers from Ukrainian imports.
At the same time, Sybiha said preparations are underway for a meeting between Zelensky and Magyar to discuss bilateral relations and “sensitive issues,” including the rights of the Hungarian minority.

2⃣ What attracts them: political rights, economic incentives or culture?
3⃣ Should there be numerical limits to immigration?
