Southwest Regional Recreation Authority (SRRA) developed Spearhead Trails to develop and maintain a system of trails throughout a 7 county area in Southwest VA.

Meet Ranger, Chris "Dropkick" Baker! Chris is our Ranger for Mt. View. If you've been on Mt. View you've met Dropkick! Chris is also a jack of all trades here at Spearhead! He builds Single Track on Mt. View, hops from Trail system to Trail system as needed! He's a great guy!!

Meet Ranger, Brian Pennington. Brian is our Ranger for Stone Mountain! Our roughest and toughest Trail! Brian also takes care of Cave Springs and Keokee Lake. He's a jack of all trades and works on multiple projects for us. Brian is a blessing to Spearhead Trails! #StoneMountain

An exciting adventure awaits for all who are brave enough to seek it. Follow clues to amazing hidden treasures along Mountain View Trail System 10-3 on 8/31/2019. Bring water, snacks, and a sense of adventure. One treasure per child. Geocaching will also be available

@SRRAspearhead Trail Update: Original Pocahontas is in good shape, heightened difficulty in high traveled areas. Ridgeview, Coal Canyon and Mt. View are in good shape as well. Maintenance continues on Stone Mtn and trails are overall in good shape. Logging continues on Stone Mtn!
