@frugalbc Like even when we reach “peak” decentralization I hope we still hire foundation leadership of this quality to lead the development and operations into the future
I am personally happy Algorand is not mob rule - much better to be led by competent leaders and yes I believe Algorand has amazing leadership. Not always been perfect and there hasn’t always been the right leaders in place at all points in time. Just like any organization it evolves and survives by attracting the good and the best and spits out the bad and subpar.
Can we stop misleading people with the "900K Ethereum validators" narrative? 🙏
Those are NOT 900K unique participants.
Every 32 $ETH staked is counted as ONE validator, meaning a single person can run thousands, even on a single node.
That's completely different from comparing validator counts with chains like Algorand, Cardano, or Solana.
Ethereum still has thousands of nodes (likely ~7K-8K, which is great), but "900K validators" without context is deeply misleading.
Nobody in America voted for the steam engine.
Nobody in America voted for powered flight.
Nobody in America voted for the microprocessor.
And thankfully, no one voted for American technological innovation to be policed by hysterical Karens on the internet.
Stop this henpecking.
$13M? This is an iconic American place and was in serious disrepair.
Get over the TDS and celebrate this is getting done for our 250th. 🇺🇸
🏁 Let's settle the finality debate once and for all
We ranked Layer 1 blockchains by finality time
Speed claims are everywhere, but Chainspect tracks the entire market to show who actually settles transactions the fastest

Proud to see @HesabPay_ and Algorand featured in The Blockchain for Good's latest landmark report on blockchain and philanthropy.
Faster, more efficient aid delivery, even where banks no longer work.
With $30M in aid distributed to 130K+ families in 2025 alone, HesabPay, powered by @Algorand, shows what blockchain can enable in the real world.
Most multisig implementations are implemented in smart contracts. That means deployment, audits, upgrade risk, and third-party trust.
On Algorand, multisig is enforced at the consensus layer.
No contract to deploy. No logic to audit. Signature validation happens at the protocol level.

This is @Algorand.
~3,000 total nodes on mainnet across 81 countries worldwide, including 1,500+ actively participating in consensus.
Running 24/7 since launch with zero downtime.
Extremely low fees, highly scalable.
Hard to find better infrastructure for finance! 🔥
