Today we had the first ever stable playtest of our TLOU 2 Multiplayer mod, zero crashes and the entire match cycle works perfectly. From main menu to matchmaking to an actual match to scoreboard and back to lobby. Here's a few highlights!

@YamaMX The idea is to have different main menus and bases depending on what faction you have selected, this is the Seraphite one. I haven't implemented the entire faction system yet so this will be the only main menu for some time.

Naughty Dog may have canceled its The Last of Us Part 2 multiplayer project, but Factions fans can now at least have a new PvP mode to look forward to… if they're on PC.. https://t.co/ONuNTCiVpz

Another massive progress update for the TLOU 2 Multiplayer mod. Custom UI built in engine, massive improvements to netcode, a completely custom multiplayer main menu with a matchmaking and loadout system and a few other things like listen mode and marking.

It works but it doesn't work in the same way it does with NPCs. Players will react to a melee hit but won't get stuck in an animation, so they can still shoot back. It doesn't lock on to the other player either and it does like 15 damage, so its really hard to use. It will be fully implemented in future.
