@ArchdeaconLuke @bythewardrobe We know that two of the most active @spectaclemakers, goldsmith Martha Gregorie (later Alt) and Robert Alt who petitioned in 1628 for the formation of our Company, were buried in St Anne’s churchyard, just round the corner from our current HQ. Please spare a prayer for them!
