@Dontee___ These guys don't understand the systemic risk the huge debts represent in the economy.
These debts almost crippled banks in Nigeria if not for bailout in 2009
@NN99c@egi_nupe This was actually the case between the owner of a mechanic workshop and a creditor bank, the adjourning land belonging to the debtor was used as additional collateral to cover loans.
The mechanics claimed they were adverse possessors, their claim failed.
@NN99c@egi_nupe The principle of adverse possession is a shield and not a sword. It is only a defence, you cannot on the basis of adverse possession apply that the owner title be invalidated
@KingSas007@egi_nupe Maybe not if you are able to prove that, the person has been staying on the land with your consent. One of the main requirements is that possession must be adverse but not permissive.
But good luck to you proving you allowed someone to stay on your land for 20yrs.
If the govt in power believes its detractors are using insecurity to bring down the govt, then it should be the main agenda of the govt to ensure the detractors fail.
But the reverse is the case.
@Oyoaffairs When it comes to owning up to their responsibilities, Toni Kroos no Sabi pass reach Nigerian politicians.
Everybody is to be blamed except them.
I just witnessed two extremes and it knocked the sleep out of my eyes.
A prospect of a life changing brief and a ridiculously low offer to review an agreement.
I became anxious & angry at the same time.
The conflicting realities are staggering.
