Structural Exile (2022–2024): Frozen bank accounts. Jail time for social media posts. Professional credentials revoked.

Normalized Violence (2025–Today): Since Charlie Kirk's assassination, a visible share of the left has openly embraced the idea that death is a fair price for being branded a "fascist."

If this movement radicalizes any further, collective attacks are the presumptive next stage.

Je fais un bet : 95 % des gens qui se disent gauchistes aujourd’hui le sont par confort social, par peur du regard des autres, par habitude.
Le jour où le vent tournera vraiment, beaucoup d’entre eux basculeront sans trop de difficulté. Ils diront :
« Je le savais, en vrai… mais j’avais un peu peur pour ma réputation. »

Et ce sera exactement ça.

On va vivre une époque extrêmement intéressante.
Douloureuse pour certains, libératrice pour d’autres.
Mais surtout : une époque où l’on va enfin pouvoir observer, en temps réel, comment une idéologie dominante se défait… et comment les individus se repositionnent.

Simple.

No matter what the laws says, it is written on paper.

Paper cannot force compliance.

The actual power lies not with what the law says, or who writes it, but with whoever can and will enforce his interpretation.

You elect the president? Meaningless.

You elect congressmen and senators? Meaningless.

You contact your representative and make your voice heard? Meaningless.

Because, right now, in modern America, the executive and legislative branches always obey judicial rulings, and never impeach judges.

This means that the only constraint on judicial power is imposed by the judiciary's own diminishing self-restraint.

This is not democracy or republicanism. This is kritocracy, from the Greek: kritēs “judge” + kratos “power or rule”.

It doesn't have to be this way. Judges, by themselves, are nothing but sedentary old people. They can enforce nothing.

But they have built for themselves an image of being neutral and above politics, even as they engage in absurd mental gymnastics to make sweeping policy decisions that no one voted for, and to pursue nakedly ideological agendas.

@nayibbukele warned us, many years ago, that an unrestrained judiciary can nullify any government action, regardless of its popular mandate.

If we allow this to continue, the entirety of United States politics will gradually be reduced to nothing more than a struggle to pack the judiciary with cronies.

It doesn't have to be this way. By the law, judges serve "during good behavior".

All we need do is decide that wild, nakedly partisan reinterpretations of literal text are not good behavior.

Ich habe an die großen Erzählungen geglaubt: Dass der Staat das zentrale Werkzeug für Gerechtigkeit ist, dass Umverteilung fast immer moralisch überlegen ist, dass Konzerne das größte Problem sind und dass "die da oben" schuld sind, wenn es unten nicht läuft. Ich fand es progressiv, skeptisch gegenüber Traditionen zu sein, und dachte, wer kritisiert, wie schnell wir unsere Gesellschaft umbauen, sei einfach nur rückständig.

Heute bin ich das nicht mehr.

Es war kein einzelner Moment, sondern ein langsamer Prozess des Anschauens von Realität. Ich habe gesehen, wie viele linke Rezepte (besonders in ihrer radikalen Form) nicht zu mehr Freiheit und Wohlstand führen, sondern zu neuen Hierarchien, Sprachverboten und ökonomischer Naivität.

Identitätspolitik, die Menschen primär als Mitglieder von Opfergruppen definiert, hat uns nicht geeint, sondern gespalten. Die Absage an Leistungsprinzip und individuelle Verantwortung hat in manchen Milieus eine Art moralischen Infantilismus gefördert.

Ich habe erlebt, wie Kritik an Masseneinwanderung ohne Integration reflexartig als Rassismus diffamiert wurde während die Probleme in den Banlieues, in Malmö oder in manchen deutschen Vierteln immer offensichtlicher wurden.

Wie "Klimaschutz" zu einer quasi-religiösen Bewegung wurde, die mit Panik, Verboten und enormen Kosten für die Ärmsten operiert, statt auf Technologie und Innovation zu setzen.

Wie Cancel Culture und Deplatforming plötzlich von denselben Leuten verteidigt wurden, die früher "Freiheit der Rede" als höchstes Gut gefeiert hatten.

Vor allem habe ich gemerkt: Viele, die sich heute noch "links" nennen, verteidigen nicht mehr klassische soziale Gerechtigkeit (gute Bildung für alle, Aufstieg durch Leistung, sozialer Frieden), sondern ein Bündel aus kulturellem Radikalismus, Staatsgläubigkeit und einer merkwürdigen Verachtung für die eigene Zivilisation.

Ich bin realistischer geworden. Ich glaube weiterhin an eine solidarische Gesellschaft, aber eine, die auf Wahrheit, Leistung, Integration und individuelle Freiheit aufbaut, statt auf Umverteilung von Ressentiments und moralischer Erpressung.

Klassische liberale Werte (Redefreiheit, Rechtsstaat, Wissenschaft statt Ideologie) scheinen mir heute dringender zu verteidigen zu sein als je zuvor.

Wer früher links war und ehrlich hinschaut, muss sich fragen: Welche Teile der alten Linken sind eigentlich noch übrig und welche haben sich in etwas verwandelt, das mit ihren ursprünglichen Idealen kaum noch etwas zu tun hat?

War jemand von euch mal dort, wo ich war?

Vous vous croyez encore le dernier pays libre. Vous l'êtes pour l'instant. Je vous écris depuis un pays qui l'était aussi, et qui a signé sa reddition sans qu'un seul coup de feu ne soit tiré.

En France, l'État capte et redistribue 57% de tout ce que la nation produit. Cinquante-sept pour cent. Arrêtez-vous sur ce chiffre. Pour chaque unité de valeur créée par un ingénieur, un ouvrier, un fondateur qui a risqué sa peau, plus de la moitié transite par une main qui n'a rien bâti. Ce n'est pas une ligne budgétaire. C'est une hypothèque permanente sur l'existence des gens.

Et voici ce que personne ne vous avouera : ça n'arrive jamais par la révolution. Personne ne vote pour le déclin. On vote pour la compassion, pour la sécurité, pour la justice, pour la planète. À chaque étape, on troque un morceau de liberté contre une promesse. Et les promesses sont toujours belles. C'est ça, le piège.

Le collectivisme d'aujourd'hui n'agite plus le drapeau rouge il a compris que ça ne se vend plus. Il a appris à parler la langue du soin. ESG, gouvernance, conformité, « responsabilité » : ce sont les mots nouveaux d'une très vieille idée. L'idée qu'une élite éclairée sait mieux que vous ce qui est bon pour vous, et qu'il faut donc lui transférer, ligne après ligne, le pouvoir de décider à votre place. Ce n'est pas un complot. C'est pire : c'est un consensus. Personne ne se cache. Tout se fait à visage découvert, applaudi, subventionné.

Hayek l'avait écrit il y a quatre-vingts ans : la route de la servitude est pavée de bonnes intentions et de planification centralisée. La France a marché sur cette route en souriant. On a nationalisé le risque, socialisé l'échec, taxé l'audace, et administré tout le reste. Résultat : un pays magnifique qui ne construit plus rien, qui gère sa décrépitude avec une élégance funèbre, et où le jeune le plus doué rêve d'une seule chose partir. Beaucoup atterrissent chez vous.

L'Amérique a encore ce que nous avons perdu : le réflexe de bâtir plutôt que d'administrer. Le fondateur y est un héros, pas un suspect. La réussite y est une preuve, pas une faute à expier. C'est votre trésor. Et un trésor, ça se perd sans qu'on s'en aperçoive un formulaire, une agence, une « bonne cause » à la fois.

Alors ne cherchez pas d'ennemis cachés. C'est inutile et c'est indigne de vous. Regardez plutôt le chiffre. Regardez la France. Chaque point de PIB que vous laissez glisser vers l'État est un point de liberté qui ne revient jamais.

La liberté ne meurt pas assassinée. Elle meurt anesthésiée, sous les applaudissements.

So here is the rule:

If your party openly defends communism, Marxist revolution, violent class war, dictatorship of the proletariat, abolition of private property, or one-party rule, it should not be treated as a normal democratic party.

It should be treated as a political organization promoting a totalitarian ideology.

Same standard as fascism.
Same standard as Nazism.
Same standard as every movement that turns human beings into material for an ideological machine.

You can debate taxes.
You can debate welfare.
You can debate regulation.

But you should not be allowed to build a party around an ideology that has already produced gulags, famines, purges, mass surveillance, slave labor camps and 100 million corpses.

Communism should be displayed in schools, museums and public memory for what it was:

A totalitarian death cult.

Not “idealism.”
Not “social justice.”
Not “theory.”

A crime scene.

Ban communist parties.
Ban revolutionary Marxist organizations.
Ban political movements that call for the destruction of constitutional liberty.

And teach every child the names of the victims.

Because a civilization that forgets the bodies buried under utopia will eventually build the same prison again.

C'est la thèse de Thiel. Une fois que tu la vois, tu ne peux plus la dé-voir.

Dans les années 60, l'Occident construisait. On allait sur la Lune. On bâtissait des centrales nucléaires, des avions supersoniques, on parlait sérieusement de coloniser Mars et de vaincre le cancer en dix ans. Le progrès, c'était des atomes : de l'énergie moins chère, des transports plus rapides, des vies plus longues.

Puis quelque chose s'est cassé autour de 1971.

L'innovation dans le monde physique s'est arrêtée net. Le Concorde a été retiré — on vole moins vite aujourd'hui qu'il y a 50 ans. Le nucléaire a été tué par la peur. Le salaire réel médian a stagné pendant un demi-siècle. "On nous avait promis des voitures volantes, on a eu 140 caractères."

Mais l'humain a besoin de croire qu'il avance. Alors le progressisme a fait une chose géniale et terrifiante : il a déplacé le mot "progrès" du monde des atomes vers le monde des symboles.

Puisqu'on ne savait plus agrandir le gâteau, on a décrété que le seul combat qui compte était de le redécouper. Plus de croissance à promettre ? On promet de la redistribution, de la repentance, des comités, des labels, des normes. La machine à créer a été remplacée par la machine à gérer le déclin — et on a appelé ça "le bon côté de l'Histoire".

C'est là que Girard rejoint Thiel. Le progressisme n'est pas une politique, c'est une religion sécularisée. Il a gardé tous les rouages du christianisme — le péché, la culpabilité, la confession, le bouc émissaire à sacrifier — mais il a jeté la rédemption et la transcendance. Résultat : une religion qui ne sait que désigner des coupables. Jamais pardonner. Jamais construire.

Et les coupables désignés, ce sont toujours les mêmes : ceux qui bâtissent. L'entrepreneur, l'ingénieur, le fondateur, celui qui prend des risques et crée quelque chose à partir de rien. Pendant ce temps on érige en héros le commentateur, le régulateur, le consultant — celui qui ne produit rien mais qui distribue les bons points moraux.

Voilà pourquoi c'est un cancer, au sens propre. Une cellule cancéreuse n'est pas un envahisseur extérieur. C'est une cellule de ton propre corps qui oublie sa fonction, refuse de mourir, et se met à grossir sans rien produire d'utile — jusqu'à étouffer les organes qui font vivre l'ensemble. Le progressisme, c'est exactement ça : une partie de la société qui a cessé de créer de la valeur, qui se nourrit de celle des autres, et qui appelle ça de la vertu.

La bonne nouvelle, c'est qu'un cancer, ça se soigne. Le remède n'est pas la nostalgie. C'est de rendre au mot "progrès" son sens originel : construire des choses réelles. De l'énergie abondante. Des frontières nouvelles. Des fondateurs qu'on célèbre au lieu de les juger.

Le futur n'appartient pas à ceux qui redécoupent le gâteau. Il appartient à ceux qui en font un plus grand.

The left cloaks itself in the language of compassion, empathy, and social justice, but this is a calculated obfuscation designed to secure raw political power. They have absolutely no intention of helping the marginalized, the poor, or the working class. To them, human suffering is merely a resource to be mined, an excuse to expand the borders of the state and diminish individual autonomy. They preach a false gospel of virtue while practicing pure, unadulterated Machtpolitik (political action by a person or group which makes use of or is intended to increase their power or influence; power politics). Once they secure control, the masks slip instantly. The compassionate advocate transforms overnight into the ruthless apparatchik, demanding total obedience to the new regime. This is the oldest trick in the political playbook, a strategy that Machiavelli exposed centuries ago: project the illusion of mercy and religious devotion while quietly preparing the tools of absolute subjugation.

The historical record of communism is not a series of noble mistakes; it is an unbroken timeline of deliberate, systemic horror. Wherever this ideological virus has infected a nation, it has followed the exact same trajectory: it lies, it cheats, it steals, and ultimately, it kills. From the frozen, brutal landscape of the Soviet gulag system to the forced starvation of the Holodomor, communism proved itself to be a meat-grinder for human souls. In Maoist China, the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution systematically dismantled thousands of years of profound culture, replacing family loyalty with state worship and resulting in the slaughter of tens of millions of innocent lives.
