The next project I’m planning for December is an outreach program to young boys in Lagos. To empower, gift them and catch them for Christ early.💯 I’d appreciate any Christian’s willing to come on board to make this happen. We can’t loose our young boys to the world🤍 God bless.
You may not have everything you need.
What do you have?
A phone?
A skill?
Two hours?
One customer?
A kitchen?
A laptop?
A paintbrush?
A connection?
Knowledge?
Start there.
The pulpit is not a place to showcase your body. It is a place to reveal Christ.
We need to have an honest conversation about how ministers of the Gospel dress when they stand before God’s people.
We are living in a generation where some people come to church dressed in ways that would be inappropriate in many other professional settings—cleavage exposed, extremely short or revealing clothing, and outfits designed to draw attention to the body.
Men are not exempt either. Some stand on the pulpit wearing trousers so tight that they unnecessarily reveal the shape of their private parts.
Why have we become so uncomfortable with the word “modesty”?
I believe ministers should dress decently, modestly, professionally and with dignity. Not because a suit makes someone holy, or because a particular style of clothing makes someone more spiritual, but because the person standing on the pulpit is ministering before God and His people.
Paul instructed believers:
> “I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety...”
1 Timothy 2:9
And ministers are called to be examples to the flock.
There is nothing wrong with looking good. There is nothing wrong with fashion. There is nothing wrong with excellence in appearance.
But the pulpit should never become a platform for displaying our bodies.
When people come to church, our desire should be that their attention is drawn toward Christ, the Word and the presence of God—not toward the minister’s cleavage, curves, physique or clothing.
Let us bring back modesty, dignity and reverence to the pulpit.
Dress well. Dress excellently. But above all, dress appropriately for the ministry you have been entrusted with.
There is a correlation between a society's value on love and societal development. I'll explain.
If you don't truly love your partner, how can you love others? When your partner who has the capability to lift the burden of the family but instead says "God will provide" while watching you struggle and running from pillar to post because her money is her money, what do you think they will tell the populace when they have access to power and people are asking for development? You're right, God will provide. Say it enough, it becomes an anthem.
When you claim to love someone but you want to be always 10 steps ahead of them and carry all the bills because of your ego, so they can forever be grateful to you and always look up to you for everything, when you become a leader, you'll expect the people to worship you for anything you do and it would be better to keep them poor so they can stay dependent on you amd you can use them at your will.
Love is duty. Love is a covenant.
You have a duty to do right by the one you claim to love. You made a covenant to do right by them, to love and to cherish in good and bad season till death. It is the same with leadership. You have to love your country and your people. When you love them, you know you have a duty to them and a sworn covenant to do right by them to the very best of your ability, and where that fails, to step down so another person steadies the ship. The end goal is that the relationship/country works for the good of all.
Love does not think of itself. It is a foundational principle. We are very religious but very godless. Nigeria is simply a reflection of who we are as a people.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for this beautiful day You have blessed us with.
Have mercy on us, Lord, and help us in every area of our lives. We thank You for Your provision, Your protection, and Your everlasting love for us.
We ask that this day brings forth the blessings You have prepared for us. May Your will be done in our lives, and may You guide our steps according to Your purpose.
Thank You, Lord, for Your loving kindness, Your grace, and Your unfailing mercy.
In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen. 🙏
Just because I believe in this book and I know every woman needs a copy. I've paid for 10 copies.
4 for the women in my life. @osemagnum will pick the remaining 6.
This book will touch lives around the world
How can you not believe in God when octopuses dream, otters carry a favorite shell, cows have best friends, bees have different "dialects" of dance ,Forests get absolutely incinerated and respond by growing FLOWERS??? Dolphins invent NAMES for themselves and yell them across the ocean
How can you not believe in God when Seeds are sitting in the dirt for years and even decades, until conditions are right...like NO actually I will wait. Squirrels plant MILLIONS OF TREES because they simply cannot remember where they buried their nuts, and you’re telling me a tiny acorn knows how to become a 70-foot oak tree??? Nobody tells it what to do??? It just has TREE INSTRUCTIONS INSIDE IT???
How can you not believe in God when a caterpillar enters a chrysalis and dissolves most of its body, rearranging what remains, and emerges as a beautiful butterfly complete with wings, antennae, and a new body plan?
How about us? We begun as ONE CELL. ONE and that one cell became trillions of specialized cells, neurons, muscle cells, blood cells, retinal cells, bone cells, organized until somehow there were eyes that can look at stars, a brain capable of asking why any of this exists.
Hands able to hold another's, and a heart that runs on ELECTRICITY without being asked??? The iron in your BLOOD was made inside a STAR. I’M SORRY?????
We are walking around on a spinning wet blue orb,
... we’re supposed to act like this is a normal place to live?????????
HOW CAN YOU NOT BELIEVE IN GOD????
"For since the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." (Romans 1:20).
Time to call it a day.
Thank you all for the conversations, the laughs, the lessons, the likes, reposts and kind words today. I appreciate every one of you. ❤️
Whatever didn’t work out today, leave it with today. Tomorrow comes with fresh opportunities.
Rest well. Recharge. Dream big.
Good night, my people. See you tomorrow. 🙏🏿❤️
You people are still debating what you can do and what you can't do for your partner.
I don't know the faith you people are practising or even the values you have. There is a reason love is the personality trait of all human values. We are very religious but very godless.
If I love you, I would wrest the moon from the sky for you, if I could. I would give my life for yours if it ever arises. That's the ultimate show of love. But that is also why I cant love just anybody. I can't love someone who is so poor in mind and spirit that all you can think of in relationship is just how to take. I can't love someone who thinks like a thief because she is so poor in mind - why would you be inflating school fees or money for running the home because you want to cash in a little extra? I can't love someone who is not fully invested in the home to give all of herself to it including her finances. I can't love someone who is so low in spirit to value money above the relationship.
Money or what money can buy, is the easiest thing to give to someone you actually love. If you find it difficult to do that, you already have a big problem because you'll never be able to make the real sacrifices when they arise. Again, nobody loves by taking. The only proof of love is GIVING. That someone actually have a heart to be unwilling to do somethings for you(a limitation of how far they can go) is already a visible presence of a lack of love. Love does not think of itself or demand its own way.
- "I love you, but I'll never buy you a phone if yours is spoilt and you can't afford a new one while I have more than enough to afford it."
- "I love you, but my money is my money. Don't put eyes on my money. I'll never submit my money to the wellbeing of the family and never expect me to pay bills or get you stuff. I deserve to be pampered"
"I love you but I can never do this for a man/woman."
None of this is an example of love. NONE. That you need someone to spell it out, is already a problem. The first character of love is that it is kind. The second is that, it is not selfish. The third is that it is not unjust.
Again, I don't know religiosity you people are practising that your love only thinks of yourself while you're claiming to love another. The most important thing every religion or society teaches you is love. Yet, we simply cant get it right because we are a very wicked people. Your values will always reflect in your relationship
THE TRAFFIC JAM THAT ALMOST RUINED MY BIRTHDAY
May 15, 2017. My birthday.
I woke up excited.
It was supposed to be a beautiful day.
But there was something else on my calendar that morning: a major Corporate Communications meeting with country CEOs, chaired by our Chairman.
The meeting was scheduled for 8:00 a.m. in Ikoyi, so I left home much earlier than usual.
At about 7:10 a.m., approaching Eko Bridge towards Leventis, I ran into terrible traffic.
At first, I wasn't worried.
Then 10 minutes passed.
Nothing moved.
That was when my heart started racing.
I kept checking the time.
7:20.
7:30...
No meaningful movement.
Suddenly, the excitement of my birthday disappeared.
All I could think about was:
"Nduka, you are going to be late."
And not late for just any meeting.
Late for a meeting being chaired by the Chairman.
"Oh Lord, I dont want to a misuse this privilege."
My mind immediately began creating the worst possible scenarios.
Of all days, why today?
Why on my birthday?
What kind of bad luck was this?
Then I caught myself.
I decided I wasn't going to spend my birthday declaring disaster over my own life.
So right there in that traffic, I started speaking differently:
"This traffic will work to my advantage."
"I will be celebrated today."
"This is my day of glory."
But my conscious mind fought back:
"Celebrated ke? You are already late nah!" 😂
I would answer again:
"This will work for my good."
It became a battle inside me.
Fear presenting the evidence.
Faith insisting on a different conclusion.
Eventually, I decided which voice I was going to believe.
The traffic finally eased.
I got to the UBA car park, parked quickly, jumped into a keke and headed for Ikoyi.
By the time I arrived, it was around 8:30 a.m.
Thirty minutes late.
I opened the door.
Silence.
Heads turned.
All eyes were on me.
You know that kind of entrance where you suddenly wish you could become invisible? 😂
I quietly tiptoed to the second row, close to my boss, sat down and tried to compose myself.
My boss finished what he was saying.
Then the Chairman spoke.
"Nduka, tell us something exciting about yourself."
I grinned.
There was only one answer.
"Today is my birthday!"
His face lit up.
"Wow! Come to the stage!"
I walked forward.
Then he asked the room:
"Who can sing Happy Birthday for Nduka?"
And suddenly, this meeting I had spent the morning terrified of entering late turned into a birthday celebration.
They sang for me.
The Chairman and I took a selfie together on his phone.
That is the photograph you're looking at.
Hours earlier, stuck in traffic, I had been imagining embarrassment.
Instead, I walked into a room where I was celebrated.
The traffic didn't change.
My lateness didn't magically disappear.
But the ending I feared never happened.
That morning left me with something I still carry:
Be careful what conclusion you reach while you are still in the middle of the story.
What looks like a terrible beginning may simply be a chapter whose ending you haven't seen yet.
That traffic jam wasn't the end of my good day.
It became part of the story of a birthday I would never forget.
There is great power in fasting.
Whenever you fast and pray to God, asking Him for something, trust that He hears you. He may answer in a way you expect, or He may answer in His own way and in His perfect timing. But I tell you, my dear friends, when you fast, the Holy Spirit can reveal so many things within you that you need to work on.
There is power in fasting.
If you are asking God for something and you feel like it has been delayed, fast and pray about it. But remember, you must come before God with a sincere heart. You cannot come to God while holding on to unforgiveness and bitterness. You cannot knowingly continue in sin while refusing to repent. He is a righteous God, so before you come into His presence, seek His mercy.
His mercy and faithfulness are everlasting.
Jesus loves us so much, and He invites us to bring our requests to God in His name. Jesus said:
“Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
— John 16:24
When you ask, ask in faith, according to God’s will, and trust Him with the outcome.
God knows our troubles. He knows our weaknesses. He knows the areas where we are not doing well.
Jesus said:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28
God is the final answer to every problem and challenge we face. God is our refuge, our strength, and our help.
Search within yourself, deep down in your soul. Ask yourself:
What am I doing that does not please God?
What am I doing that does not reflect God’s image in my life?
Is it lying?
Is it stealing?
Is it gossiping?
Is it sexual immorality?
Is it fornication?
Yes, Jesus has paid the price for you. But that does not mean you should take His sacrifice for granted. We grieve the Holy Spirit when we continue in things that God has called us away from, even when the world tells us they are “normal.”
Seek the mercy of God. He is rich in mercy. He is rich in love. His love endures forever.
So, my dear friends, forgive those who have wronged you. Ask those whom you have wronged for forgiveness.
Forgiving someone does not mean what they did was right. But because of the love of God and the mercy He has shown you, you have to let go of grudges. You have to let go of bitterness. You have to let go of the things that do not reflect the image of Christ in your life.
Today, I want you to ask yourself:
What is making me feel like my prayers are not being answered by God?
What is making me feel like God does not love me?
What is that lie that Satan is whispering into my heart?
Rebuke that lie, because the devil is a liar.
You are a temple of God.
The Bible says:
“Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”
— 1 Corinthians 3:16
Think about that.
You are a temple where the Spirit of God dwells.
But sometimes, we fail to realize who we are because the enemy plants lies, temptations, bitterness, fear, and other things in our hearts.
Jesus spoke about this in Matthew 13, in the parable of the weeds. He said that an enemy came at night and sowed weeds among the good seed.
Do not allow the enemy to deceive you.
The Bible says:
“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
— James 4:7
Resist every lie that tells you God does not love you.
Resist every temptation that pulls you away from God.
Bring your thoughts, your heart, your weaknesses, and your struggles before God.
Sometimes, we don’t realize how much God wants to do in our lives because we have not surrendered those areas to Him.
So I want to tell us today:
Seek the mercy of God.
Ask God to help you.
Repent where you need to repent.
Forgive where you need to forgive.
Surrender what you need to surrender.
And then thank God for helping you. 😊❤️✝️
His mercy is greater than our weaknesses.
His love endures forever.
God bless you, my dear friends. 🤍
By the mercy and grace of our loving God, I am happy to announce the beginning of a new journey on earth with you all.
I am blessed and humbled to announce the beginning of JESUS IS KING ONLINE MINISTRY (JIKOM) an online ministry dedicated to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and sharing His Word.
My prayer is that, through this ministry, God will guide all of us closer to Him, strengthen our faith, and help us know and follow Jesus more deeply.
This is not about me; it is about Jesus Christ, our Lord and King. 👑✝️
May God lead us, use us, and give us the grace to remain faithful to His Word.
Amen. 🙏
🚨 EXTENDED cut of my conversation with Pastor @PhilipAMitchell on Islam... This might be the most uncomfortable conversation for pastors to have right now.
We have 1,400 years of history as a guide. It would be very naive to think it will be different this time.
Pastor Poju oyemade was in south africa ,came to Kenya ,he is now in Nigeria ministering
Pastor Jerry Eze had a prayer meeting in UK yesterday and is already back in Nigeria, ministering today Sunday service
Apostle Joshua Selman was ministering in South Africa yesterday. He is back in Nigeria today, hosting Miracle Service.
Minister Mercy Chinwo was at NSPPD in Manchester yesterday, and today she will be in Kenya ministering.
Pastor Paul Enenche was in Uganda, travelled back to Nigeria, and is now ministering at Apostle Michael Orokpo’s meeting.
Honestly, I don't understand where these ministers get the energy! 😂
The travelling alone is something else. Different countries, different time zones, flights, little rest—and they still show up looking fresh, full of strength, and ready to minister to people.
There is a grace for the assignment.
We may see the stage, the microphones, the crowds and the powerful ministrations, but there is a price of labour behind it that many people never see.
May the Lord continually strengthen every man and woman of God who is labouring for the Kingdom.
May their bodies be strengthened, may their families be preserved, may their travels be safe, and may they never minister from an empty spiritual reservoir.
May their labour of love never be in vain.
May they finish their race well and fulfil everything God has committed into their hands.
Amen. 🙏🏾
Parents are like our guardian angels. They’ve been there from the beginning, and their love continues to live on in us. ❤️
That’s one of the beautiful things about God’s love, we’re cared for, watched over, and never truly alone. Whether they’re beside us physically or living on in our hearts and memories, the love of a parent can remain with us. And you know what’s even crazier? We literally share DNA with our parents. 😇
God’s design is beautiful. ❤️
The moment you stop blaming everyone for where you are is the moment you can start building where you're going.
Blame keeps you looking backward.
Responsibility asks:
"What can I do from here?"
That question can change your life.
