@KNBR 2 words. Carmen Policy. The reason the 49ers stayed relevant for so long,(20 + years). We had a salary cap guru, before the cap. Understanding who gave us the biggest bang for our buck, getting rid of players a year early rather than a year late. Culture matters. Miss those days.

The SB Champion will have the coaching staff that figures out how to exploit those flaws and motivate their players to execute the game plan.
