Verdict: Grok @bot is far too token hungry to be usable regularly for now. Back to Hermes. It seems like the apple of AI agents though, they take some of choice away from you like model selection to deliver a great product. It just works. By fault the least amount of babysitting.

Given how token hungry Grok Bot is, and that all my tokens for the week are gone, I dialed things way back for the day. It still ended up using close to $100 for the day.

Hoping that we end up getting more tokens included in our subs somehow, cause that means if I used GB the way I had been using it before running out of plan tokens, I’m sure I would have hit $200 in usage, and that’s with all dev tasks going to Cursor or Claude Code.

I can see why open is so appealing for these types of agent systems.

They absolutely burn tokens.
