@sweetbri4311 Okay, genuine questions. Who do you think would win? Do you want them to battle?
Do you think Joey in this moment (not from history) is on a level with Kendrick? That's considering the year Kendrick just had.
@sweetbri4311 @naturallyborn90 I'm not a part of any fan base. Competition is good yeah, but what are they competing for?
I'm glad hip hip is going back to its origins, but battling is just 1 part of it. You think Joey can compete, others don't. I'm just wondering why you think Joey is on Kendrick's level?
@sweetbri4311 Skill isn't all that matters though is it? you don't care about aesthetics, but the aesthetics you're witnessing at the moment is because of how they used their skills, even the quality of their skills (possibly). Again artistry first. Both of them aren't battle rappers.
@sweetbri4311 So you are saying they are side by side?
Joey has skills, but definitely not the circumstances which makes them worlds apart. For them reasons alone he is beneath him. Not in a disrespectful way. Otherwise it's just battling for battling sake.
@sweetbri4311 You can tell it was personal for Kendrick going for Drake, not just for the love of the sport. Also it doesn't make sense to go at it with Joey. He is tuned in to other things, plus Kendrick isn't just a battle rapper. Artist first with a battle rap on his CV
This just shows that Arteta is fearful. In theory it makes sense because if Odegaard tries this pass to Martinelli and fails there is a massive gap for Afc to exploit on the left. That's the issue though, what if it works? Also you're not profiling players correctly. Sacrificing
For Odegaard to not even hit the target on that last chance is crazy. You either pass it, bury it or make the keeper work. Things have to change next season.
This is my point about Arteta not reading in game moments and just being in love with the idea. Keeps the formation, but didn't recognise Merino was finished 10 minutes ago. Raya again? Passing without thinking. Switch it up
Remember the heading ability of Martinelli?
How many opportunities has he had to to be central in his thinking?
Platforming players correctly can add 50% to their game or take 50% away if platformed incorrectly.
@_segev@LewisW_94 You're kinda proving my point. Not every chance is taken, but you have a better chance with your strongest foot to hit it cleanly or adapt if it's an awkward scenario. Saka has shown he can score with his weaker foot, but he has more goals with his strongest. It's facts
Another example. Look at Dembeles goal at the Emirates and Sakas miss tonight. Dembele didn't hit it cleanly but physics favoured him because of the right moment and bias towards his strengths. Saka miss was biased against his strength. Arteta system goes against the players core
This is because the chances are not at the right times with the right players because of the system that platforms the players incorrectly. You can have a high scoring opportunity but it falls to the wrong man or on the wrong foot of a player
@Stoneeed1 I said this to someone just before the game. He isn't a good defender being a part of a back line. He doesn't read behind himself, how how to stay in line, or to press or drop off. In midfield he would be great at defending with battles and running across the pitch
@_segev@LewisW_94 They don't lack ball striking. They lack the ball striking in optimal positions for their attributes. Not every is adept to striking the ball with both feet from ever position. Look at Merinos goal vs Real Madrid first time shot.
@LewisW_94@_segev What's the % of Saka scoring with his left compared to his righ what was the angle of Saka scoring vs Real Madrid and vs PSG? When Lamal hit straight at the keeper last night, would a Right footer hit it with a better angle bias?
@LewisW_94@_segev You're missing the point. It will work at times but the % is against on a consistent basis. How did Saka score his comeback goal recently after his injury?
Why do you think Afc don't score many goals and miss many chances?
