For many sectors of the market, like semiconductors, I suspect we are in the late or last stages of the bull run (for now!) and that consolidation is needed (not saying a crash is coming!).
The final leg in a cycle has the potential to be the most rewarding. Many cycles have a “blow-off” top.
However, the late stages are highly volatile and subject to profit-taking gaps making it harder to hold. Today is an example of that.
For that reason, I’ve been largely sitting out. Many swing traders will go for the final leg, many will be hands off. There is no right answer. Just be aware of the trade-off!

Big Sean says the only thing you should teach your child growing up is confidence
"growing up my Mum and Dad both were like oh you gotta work hard and money doesn't grow on trees and life's not fair out there...that's not true"
"my parents came from two families that they didn't really have the confidence growing up they didn't give me the confidence cause they didn't have it"
"I'm confident that I will always have whatever it is I need to be the person that I strive to be...I will always have enough"
Qullamaggie on Episodic Pivot Edge is Buying Early In a Move, Not Late
“APPS is not an EP. EP is a specific setup. Well, actually no—it can be, but EP is best for a stock that’s early in a trend. This thing is already up 25 percent in less than a year. You know, an EP is for a stock that’s been going sideways for a long time or is coming off for correction. Just because this cap stock is gapping up on news doesn’t make it an EP. That’s not where your edge is. The rich is buying a stock early in a move, not late in a move. That’s what an EP is.”
You can use any MA it is not that important, the most important thing for trading duration moves is to select stocks capable of duration moves at the right time. Stock selection is 90% of the skill.

Idk but Michelle Obama telling Barack “You told me all those years ago that you couldn't promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life. And, of course you outdid yourself and managed to give me both." is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard someone say to another 🥹
