@LiterateIndy Agree! When I’m watching a race broadcast, I have the race control leaderboard webpage up. It’s about 30 seconds ahead of the broadcast. When they go yellow, I know to look away from the broadcast. I like watching racing. I don’t want to watch high speed crashes anymore.
@indy44 Years ago during Indy f1 qual, David Coulthard pulled off track where I was standing. He was quickly swamped with autograph seekers. I kept a space between me and the fence so kids could get his autograph. Many kids got his autograph as I kept most of the adults behind me:)
@MorrisCoffman14 Last day of qualifying if I remember correctly. I drove out there to watch her do it. She was hauling ass. I imagine those big winged Indy cars were not easy to handle. She had something to prove!
@GoDavidHunt Ha! Although truth be told, I was the wimpy dork just watching all the snake pit action. I actually went to watch the race cars…not drunks:)
@MorrisCoffman14 I was there. Got soaking wet. Loved every minute of it! Spent money I really didn’t have for inside front stretch tickets … right as they come out of 4. Bleachers are long gone … memories last forever.
