Dolly Parton supported so many important causes, among them donating a million dollars to COVID vaccine research early in the pandemic, which saved millions of lives. She will always be remembered as a champion of the people.
You can’t just “push through” a genetic disease. You can’t just “push through” a blood disorder. There’s many disabilities where no matter how hard you push, it won’t do any good and might actually make things worse. Stop telling disabled people to push through their disability.
DearWattpad refugees,
1--Archive of Our Own does not have an algorithm.
2--You cannot mass report a fic on AO3.
3--No one receives an email notifying them that a fic they reported was taken down.
4--The person who wrote Ao3's T&C is a leading expert in the First Amendment and a Harvard Law professor.
If you cannot handle the content you are finding on Ao3 stop making up lies and go back to Wattpad before Kinktober.
Y'all are exhausting.
"People will donate 400k to ao3 for gay fanfic and ignore good causes-"
Ao3 is an organisation that focuses on anti censorship, protecting media from being lost and protecting fanon in law rooms. They are essentially a charity for the protection of fandom.
tmasc boy scouts but we're all adults and im forcing you to wear the twee little uniform, engage in survivalism, run and work outside all while calling you sissies if you don't do what i want how i want it.
@piwennie Neurotypicals when the mental disability that quite literally alters the way you perceive the world, people and yourself, makes you way more self conscious and has a million more ways to mess up your life is actually making a person lose their mind and is not oh my god so quirky
Legit used to have a reoccurring nightmare as a kid that no one was real except me and everybody were robots made to watch me and punish/belittle my every move. So uh yeah I'm doing great in this current world right now obviously.
Been very dysphoric recently. My partner and my friend both say they've always seen me as androgynous but I wish I could see me through their eyes. I need to see a barber since my hair has been fucked up for a while but I'm nervous about it. Feels like I'm choking when I see me.
Able-bodied people are struggling to find work in this hellish job market and they expect disabled people to 'just get a job'? If they won't hire you, then why would they hire *us*?
OCD as a child had me thinking stuff like "I know you can hear me." or screaming as loud as I could and looking around for who reacts just to make sure no one was listening
