@JoshuaMorgret I was the PA guy for a MI school that won an 11-man state title in the 2000s but pivoted to 8-player to keep football going a few years ago. It has been great for the school. And they haven’t even sniffed a state title in 8-player because the competition is so good in Michigan.
@JoshuaMorgret One of the most interesting parts in observing the Michigan and Ohio landscapes is Michigan’s embracing of 8-player vs. Ohio’s shrugging it off. I have no idea why some schools would rather have their teeth kicked in each week vs. being competitive.
