- different spells do different things
- different entropes also respond differently, in certain cases
- singleplayer: temporary effects (but can be very long lasting)
- multiplayer: unlock permanent “abilities”
- pvp: hold permanent(ish) effects

- cast spells on your entrope to trigger timed, spell-specific visual effects (use $cast to boost duration up to over a year)
- collect sigils to unlock new abilities by having others cast on ur entrope
