Best Served Cold is so good so far! I just love Monza and somehow Joe Abercrombie is even better at constructing characters than in The First Law trilogy, I didn’t know that was possible

I fucking hated The Fifth Season. I’m so sorry. I wanted to love it so bad! I’m genuinely upset I didn’t. All my angry thoughts will be present in my January Wrap-Up.

I’m almost done with The Fifth Season and at least I’m a little engaged now but I won’t get over the child abuse or the fact this book has So Much transphobia (even for a fantasy novel) so tbh it’s probably 1 star or possibly 2 as of this moment

I’m really not liking The Fifth Season and I’m really upset about it. I expected to love it! For it to be a new favorite! But as of page 116 it’s not enjoyable at all. The writing is really beautiful too and I just want to like this book.

Read Take a Hint, Dani Brown in one sitting yesterday. It was pretty good. May have taken like all my energy stretching multiple days though lol. I’ve laid on the couch and wanted to sleep all day today.
