@DylanEveryday@tcgoldrush @CFBRep Every bar near the stadium had a private event for ND fans. Been to a ton of huge games in the Benz and never seen anything like it. ND fans were spending like crazy
@FishInBubb@jackunheard Summary is Georgia state government is extremely conservative & this dude still managed to get on every single persons bad side. He was trying to force his way into an event (drunk) that he was not permitted to attend. So he got arrested.
@AirOzium @AlecFedro @Tennessee_Ed@kellyinvegas SEC was weak but still miles better than ACC and Big 12 (Record being 11-3 and 5-2 respectively). Big 10 was best conference this year going 6-4 against SEC. Texas was 1 qtr away from being in championship and no Big10 team being in the championship. Difference was not wide.
@AirOzium@Tennessee_Ed@kellyinvegas Are you talking about Ivy league schools or something that aren’t spending? Are Big12 or ACC teams who arent already going to start like UVA? Every school has always been able to use donor money on facilities. But SEC schools/fans care the most, so thats where money goes.
@AirOzium@Tennessee_Ed@kellyinvegas Are teams that will pay players not right now? SEC paying the most right now, so not sure why you’d expect the change.
@joelklatt One quarter away from no B1G team being in the championship in what has obviously been a down year for the SEC. You’re pushing a narrative based on a small sample size. Old narrative was based on 20 years of dominance.
@AirOzium@Tennessee_Ed@kellyinvegas Nah look at recruiting rankings. SEC still has 7 of the top 10 recruiting classes for this next year. SEC isnt going anywhere. Ohio State, Oregon, Michigan and Notre Dame are recruiting on a high level, but talent is still mostly going to SEC.
@kellyinvegas@Tennessee_Ed How? In both those occasions, both SEC teams won their semi-final game. Recency bias is outrageous on this take. Texas was a quarter away from being in the final.
Excluding the SEC, Ohio State has been the best recruiting school in the country over the last four years. Notre Dame has been the third best behind Oregon. Transfer portal matters but the ones that recruit the best always win. @CollegeGameDay@JoshPateCFB
