@PhilO37531 Finding good businesses to acquire is a full-time job in itself and could take years to find a good one that pencils as you described with employees and systems in place. Also, you probably won't get that feeling you're chasing. Speaking from experience.

@alexfbaflips I've got several long-term rentals and used a unique program for operators to purchase a commerical property for their business. I also heavily invest the profits of my Amazon business into index funds, which I prefer at this point.

I'm betting it's a tight conversion cycle carrying the load, not the absence of capital. And a tight cashflow conversion cylce is a velocity play, which is exactly my original point as it only holds up while the units move. Dead stock is where the math stops working, margins erode and things aren't effortless as you stated was your goal.

Volume over margin is right, but "the effort is the same whether it does 30 or 3,000 units" isn't.

The reorder click is identical, the working capital, storage, and dead-stock risk are 100x. The hard part of wholesale was never restocking. It's sourcing winners and financing the inventory to scale them.
