I’ve been watching a lot of coins come & go lately, and the ones that stick all seem to have one thing in common: they make sense in conversation. Not just on CT, but in actual everyday speech. That’s why I think $GOOD coin might be the best one yet.
Most projects try to force a narrative but $good doesn’t need to. It’s simple & clear. It answers the one question almost every normie asks when they’re getting into crypto: “Which coin is good?” And with $GOOD, the answer is built in.
It’s similar to what makes #USELESS so brilliant. The project works because it is honest. The entire pitch is in the name. It strips away the BS & people love it because it takes the mic out of the crypto space by suggesting every coin is useless. $GOOD taps into that same energy - same simplicity, same immediate understanding. But instead of leaning into the irony, it flips it. $GOOD is straight-faced, dead simple positivity. Not sarcastic. Not cynical. Just…good.
And I think that shift matters. Because while #USELESS caught attention by admitting how pointless it all is, $GOOD turns the conversation forward. It doesn’t reject the game, it plays it better. You don’t have to explain anything. You don’t need context. You can show up to any conversation, and it works.
“Which coin should I buy?”
“Good coin.”
“What’s it called?”
“$GOOD.”
“Is it actually good?”
“It’s called $GOOD for a reason.”
That’s not marketing. That’s just a loop. A perfectly designed, conversational meme that anyone can understand, whether they’re a degen or someone buying their first bag.
There’s also been momentum behind a coin called $CRYPTO lately, and I get why. It’s got that same thesis: pick a word everyone already uses, build a coin around it, and let the language do the work. But $GOOD takes that idea and makes it feel personal. Everyone wants to buy a good coin. Everyone wants to feel like they made a good call. You don’t even have to shill it, you just repeat the name. It does the rest.
That’s why I think $GOOD has real legs. It’s not tied to a character, a trend, or a meta. It’s not trying to be anything other than what it says it is. It fits into normal conversation. It scales across culture. It sounds like something you’d already be saying even if it wasn’t a token.
I don’t think people fully realise how powerful that is yet.
There are a lot of coins that go viral for a few days, burn hot, then disappear. But the ones that last are the ones that become part of the way we talk. And $GOOD? It already is.
It’s a good coin. And that might be all it needs to be.
