Let's go with this! More red fruits - particularly strawberry and raspberry with some sweet berries. The vanilla gentle oak underneath gives layers to the thicker spirit. That port influence giving a dry, but almond sweet finish.

@SpiritAndWood Yes, I’m afraid it’s true. Production stopped in November 2024 and the distillery became officially lost in May 2025. We still have plenty of fantastic whiskies to bottle from casks maturing, and we look to hopefully have a new home for SPEY at some point in the future.

SPEY Fumare 14 Year Old - 46%

Palate: Rich and warming. Sweet vanilla and malt lead into ripe fruit, peppery spice and a rich honeyed smoke. Smoky, but with plenty of sweetness to balance it. This is top notch. All these drams have had great texture!
