@neofangz Ye. The fandom has stagnate quite a bit lately. People have been playing it safe more and more, sticking to the same few popular furries they've commed for years.

In a lot of ways, bc of the internet/social media landscape, we've gone backwards and stopped supporting each other

@neofangz I know it sounds extremely cynical, but really it's a trust thing. If you have a low follower count like me, people are extremely worried about getting scammed because they have nobody to tell them you're good for following through on a comm. Loyal followers who share are a boon

@neofangz Same. I think it has to do a lot with exposure. The fewer followers ya have/fewer people they see touting your comms around, the less they think your art is worth. People could think your art is awesome, but your popularity specifically is what determines what a good price is
