@AndyStaples On your A&M ranking, how would you “rank” the main unknowns in terms of importance between the following: New OC, replacing 4/5 of OL, and Reed’s inconsistencies?
@JoshPateCFB What would it take to turn the CFP Selection Meetings (and NCAAB Tourney Selection Meetings, for that matter) into a live-viewing opportunity like CSPAN? Think of the massive added revenue, not to mention transparency.
Houston, TX
@PeterBurnsESPN Sounds like some folks are afraid of accountability 🙃 Same for NCAAB Tourney selection process, too.
Transparency aside, this is also a missed opportunity for additional TV revenue. Millions would tune in to yell at their screens for that.
@PeterBurnsESPN They need to make the Selection committee discussions and voting visible. Worried about inappropriate influence? Put ‘em up on screen like CSPAN so you can see for yourself.
@slmandel Doesn’t SOR and SOS already account for quality of opponent? If so, A&M ranks 1 better than IU in SOR and 18 spots better in SOS, both of which factor in their conference foes’ combined record. Why tout the importance of these 2 metrics if you “eye test” your way out of them?
@HornSports FWIW A&M fans had been waiting for a home game against Georgia for over a decade before the scheduling process was changed. Kept getting games against Florida for some reason.
@StephenMallard5@CamboSZN@blueman67234998@HorsemenPod Took 2 months to reply? And that’s what you come back with? Sad. Anyway, there were a number of other missed penalties. It’s easy to point to one play and say “that determined the game” but plenty of other missed penalties could’ve determined the game, too.
