TWO WOMEN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY RAPING MAN IN TEMBISA

Two 26-year-old women from Winnie Mandela Zone 4, Tembisa, have been arrested after allegedly raping a 32-year-old man they reportedly met at a local tavern.

According to police, the women allegedly invited the man to their rented backyard room after they had been drinking together. The victim claims he was overpowered, pushed onto a bed and sexually assaulted before managing to escape during a struggle.

He was later assisted by the landlord and reported the matter to police.

Tembisa police praised the victim for speaking out, saying many male victims suffer in silence due to stigma and fear of not being believed.

The suspects are expected to appear before the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday on a rape charge. #NewsOnBeast #breakingnewsviral
