Came in tonight as the underdog, shut out Arsenal home and away. Proud of this performance.
Should’ve had a penalty for the foul on Wirtz. Trossard and Martinelli should be sent off.
Tonight showed who was the classy team out there.
Thoughts on tonight 👇:
- 2nd half excellent, our best performance in a while.
- Def pen for Wirtz, but typical Taylor.
- Martenelli should've been red-carded. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, horrible way to treat a fellow pro.
-That's a very bad injury for Bradley
- MacAllister majestic.
- Kerkez brilliant 2nd half on Saka.
- Frimpong pace unreal; if he'd end product he'd be world class
- Konate form massively improved, v good with VVD.
- That's our best midfield.
- Arsenal shite w/o set pieces.
- Wirtz good in moments, miles ahead of Odegaard.
-We had no real threat but that's expected we are missing our 3 best attacks.
🚨🚨🎙️| Dominik Szoboszlai on facing Arsenal:
"The Premier League is not easy, You don't win it by January, so I don't think we are playing against the champions. They're playing against the champions." 🥶
This is our last comment on this boring story.
Roy suggesting it’s harsh for Liverpool fans to boo Trent completely misses the wider context.
Supporters aren’t upset that he wanted a new challenge as he’s fully entitled to that.
However, this is a player who served as vice captain, frequently expressed his desire to one day captain Liverpool and then chose to leave on a free transfer to a club that has twice beaten Liverpool in European finals.
Of course Trent had every right to run down his contract. But, to then expect a warm reception from the fans is unrealistic. Actions have consequences; you can’t have a slice of the cake and then all of it.
Dominik Szoboszlai was the only Liverpool outfield player who didn’t touch the ball in the build-up to Rio Ngumoha’s winner v Newcastle…
But his dummy created it 🤌
Reminder that Liverpool's entire timeline in this saga is: submitting a record bid, having it rejected, and stating we won't bid again without encouragement.
Every other issue is between Newcastle and Isak. No amount of fan fiction about a Joelinton-led massacre changes that.
Copied every song Liverpool have, including the Chiesa one for Eze, and now they've even used the slogan we used for Van Dijk's contract extension. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, as they say. Desperate to be Liverpool. Embarrassing.
