@FightluckBet I wonder how much he makes to say this? He’s gotta be making a mil a fight. Most ufc champs make around there or just under it I think which is crazy consider how much more profitable the UFC is
@Miles90234527@SheevTalks Yes, that + multiple other ideas could be the central idea(it fails imo), but for any idea to take root the characters it involves must react/change over time. Lack of strong arcs for most of the leads makes that hard.
Books are hard to adapt
@cheddarlimbo@SheevTalks What you listed,to me, are plot points that explain why characters made certain decisions. It’s a cause and effect not an actual theme/message. For me it missed character arcs to connect the two together.
@cheddarlimbo@SheevTalks What moments do you think prove that? All of the characters were pretty static. There wasn’t much of a balancing act that they were forced to weigh
@WonzoTV I see why the front office was so high on AJ. They knew none of their other draft picks could dribble/create for others.
It’s crazy people were thinking Trae was going to take the ball out of AJ hands. We need him badly as a primary ball handler without Trae.
@QuisqueyanoMMA Flyweight doesn’t have as many cans. All the fights are relatively tough. It’s probably the division closest to 2010s. He could’ve taken more time off for sure though
Like even think about the dwcs rookies, all of them are skilled
@xKaratepath People started to buy into the lie that the ufc is pure sport because they pushed it so much to gain legitimacy with casuals during the 2010s.
Basharat shouldnt have been cut but realistically ufc has so much market share it doesn’t matter
@QabuliEnjoyer UFC will probably be to prideful to admit they were wrong. If they’re not I could see it like three years down the line.
I unironically think a Talbots fight would be interesting now
