@umm_misanthrope @freyrkkuma They really like having the high ground more than anything :D! Since they mainly hunt flying insects, they’ll always look for the tallest thing to climb. Most people who have pet mantids who escape find them on the curtains for this reason lolol

actually incredible how studios almost always learn the wrong lessons. backrooms was so successful cause kane parsons is passionate about the material. getting a cashgrab off a random story on reddit isnt gonna have that same success

@FernShawArt yes exactly :(!! i feel like theres quite a few animals that fit into this category, but spiders are absolutely the number one example. ive never owned them but used to own mantids and people would OFTEN tell me in detail about how they’d squish them and stuff. its just rude 😬
