Confronting issues like voter suppression, mass incarceration, and racist violence is so urgent. These are issues of life and death for so many communities of color.

Initiatives like vote-by-mail need to be implemented at a local level and then scaled - we know it works. #SAOC2020

Local laws are passed at light speed - and with social distancing, sharing development of bills and laws with communities of color becomes even more difficult. #SAOC2020

@WilsonSchool - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion should never have to be negotiated. It’s on the mission statement.
It should be required for each and every policy maker, policy academic AND students. “It’s what you do, not what you write.”
