Since Hvswp and Hmstck no longer have on-going stories tht I'm interested in, I've been invested in expanding/fleshing out whatever they left behind or didn't find tht interesting.
My interest in Hvswp has dwindled a ton, but I'm still invested in mine and friends fantrolls and their personal lore. Lately been into my Hvswp/Hmstck au, Ricochet Riot (if you kno, you kno 🫡🫡).
Thinking of Risske's angst...the many, many times he's had a hit pleading for their lives. Equally, he's had to retort many, many times, "Nothing personal." And the one time he bent slightly to the weight of a victim's request to be held as he pulled the trigger.
Ever just...think about how much you lack in terms of art/writing skills to fully contextualize and express your OCs? That they'll forever be just some guys living rent free in your head, and tht you'll never be fully able to express them in concrete forms to your peers?
And how your particular expression and style of these characters are, in ways, a projection of yourself and your experiences in your life? And also how your particular niche of characters are complex and not "marketable" to a more mainstream audience?
