A little bit of history and the full translation of the song #sramhr

“Retko Te Viđam Sa Devojkama” is a song from 1981 by the Serbian band Idoli. It was one of the first songs in former yugoslavia with a pretty obvious queer subtext.

I recommend checking out the og, it’s a good song.

The cover for Sram “Rijetko te viđam s djevojkama”, as you probably know, was done by Luzeri and you can notice some little changes in spelling and pronunciation considering this one is in Croatian. Serbian and Croatian are fully mutually intelligible. There are some minor vocabulary differences, diff spelling/pronunciation and accents.
