I know someone who deleted a fic and re-posted it, edited, like 5 years later

reminded about the fic author who was harassed by the Naruto fandom so hard that she cancelled all her fic updates for the fandom, switched to other stories instead, and had to put "NARUTO FANDOM LEAVE ME ALONE" on all her socials... yeah i understand abandoning works 😂

the reason that hyperpalatable foods are common safe foods isn’t by accident- when everything seems disgusting, a Yummy Little Treat is at least tasty enough for me to get Something in me, and processed foods taste and feel the same every time

My friends son supposedly has ARFID but ate a freaking Sloppy Joe and asked for seconds at my house because everyone else was happily chowing down and his mom had forgotten his "safe food cooler" at the house and left to get it. Just served him like everyone else and told him no pressure, but this is all we have I'm not making anything extra we can wait on your mom and he ate.

i think part of the misconception. about ARFID is that no kid with it is saying “I refuse to eat anything but chicken nuggets” they are refusing to eat Period and chicken nuggets are just the only suggestion that makes them go “ugh fine i guess i can try that”

I am now 28 and have a pretty varied diet and cook for myself (+others!) regularly, and have Rituals in place to make trying new foods feel safer and expand my palate. But I got there by not FORCING myself to eat, which only ever made my relationship with eating WORSE

my father was the "you'll eat it if you're hungry enough" type and because of this i spent most of my childhood getting physically sick because i would sit at the dinner table until i couldnt take it any more, try to take a bite, and be so physically repulsed id vomit on the spot
