"I didn’t want her to be just a silhouette. In ‘Black Widow’ and ‘Hawkeye’ I wanted her to be unique and bizarre and excited for life. To have a strange timing that would be strangely comic. But I also love that I was allowed to play someone that was struggling in ‘Thunderbolts*.’ I’m just grateful that I get to do all of that with one character."
