i think the ending is open-ended when it comes to carmy’s career because the whole point is that he has to go out and try other things to know if cooking really is for him. he could enjoy architecture. or he could hate it and try something else he loves. that’s the point
richie jerimovich really is a character of all time. from the very first episode he had me hooked. i couldn’t wait to see his development.and they fucking Delivered.
ik carmy’s career is up for interpretation (stated by jeremy himself) but i really do think the interview scene was him realizing that the “last” service at the bear ignited that passion he once had for it. that smile at the end is confirmation for me at least 🥲
