@gymsociety i do all of mine at home for now, so the ones that need nothing are the only ones i actually stick with. i will try this one in the morning and see how long i last.
so i made the same thing two nights later with three spoons and it was still good, only the pan was not swimming in it at the end. i had never noticed that before.
@rondeaulivia i cook for just myself too and i end up making way too much and eating it for days. do you make these all in one go at the start of the week?
the leftover dal from last night was better cold this morning and i am not sure what that says about me. ate it standing at the counter. what does your sunday breakfast look like?
the okra was the cheap thing at the stall this morning so it decided dinner. okra and two potatoes that needed using up, rice on the side. the bowl came to 305 calories, and i would have guessed nearly double.
the deciding got easier this week. three dinners came out of things that were about to go soft, the last onions, the tired tomatoes, the end of the rice.
the hour before bed is still the hard part. the kitchen goes quiet, i want something with my tea, and i open the cupboard knowing there is nothing in there.
today i got okra, tomatoes and the little onions he says are sweeter. cooked the okra soft the way i like it, with rice, and did not make a second dish to go with it.
