@djgrant_@jarredsumner@curlykoder@zack_overflow Multiple projects are dropping Bun support just on the news that this happened at all. My impression is this post has an uphill battle to win back trust from a lot of people who are committed to distrusting AI output even when the metrics look good.
@patio11 To spell it out:
Your prompt volunteered the intl access, error message, a reason the access should be trusted, and two available backup auth mechanisms.
The average layperson won't spoonfeed the LLM a half-solved problem. They may not even usefully describe the symptoms.
@patio11 I grew bored of Clank. It's neat, but simple.
Clank in Space has more replayability for experienced players: map is a little more complex, slightly more demanding route planning, goal prioritization.
Suitability for children: leaning "yes" for at least Lillian, unsure for Liam.
@LemmySmackett I need something new to read on the plane today. Can you help a brother out?
We're visiting my infant nephew. He won't be allowed to do anything on a screen besides read unrestricted,
unfiltered Wikipedia until he's a teenager.
@czue The patio11 playbook: throw out all the custom paperwork and tell them if they're paying the standard price they get the standard deal. Custom arrangements cost extra.
They'll be this much hassle every time you talk to them, and they'll feel entitled to it.
@Aella_Girl@US_Macauley@allTheYud Big picture:
1) Is the specific research team & work product getting the credit? This is major career currency.
2) Someday the link will die. Do readers have enough info to find another copy of the paper?
@Aella_Girl@US_Macauley@allTheYud After the citation is established, you can refer to the paper more casually throughout your post.
"According to [surname et al]...", "[title shorthand] says..."
If multiple citations for same authors, "[surnames] [year]".
There's an APA citation format but you don't need it.
