[updated message] Just as an FYI (if it wasn't obvious), my tweets are my opinion only and not that of any current or future employer (long story here, can't get into it, insert legal stuff). Any offence caused is by me or my cat, not my employer. Aroha nui 💕
@RevRichardColes @paullewismoney I defer, naturally, to Rev Coles' expertise, but I understand that only two of the cardinals present belong to religious orders with a vow of poverty. We'll also see variation in dress from the Eastern Order and Dominicans who have different habits (in both senses of the word)
Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary
All these years later, I joined Twitter because I was studying SciComm by distance learning from Otago and thought I should get more active on social media. So led my downfall lol
@Tiare_MP It's a me in the wild! Glad we could have you on the only art deco / grade separated / light rail transport available. Someone got on yesterday and said "objectively the best form of transport".
Today I was on in-traffic light rail - with no affect on traffic flows!
For those in that world, FYI Graham Stewart MNZM passed away yesterday at 92. One of the founders of MOTAT, originator of the Old Time Transport Preservation League, NZH photographer, author of 29 books on transport history, father of tram preservation in Aotearoa.
Shout out to David Seymour and the Ministry for Regulation for making me work over the summer holidays. There really should be some sort of regulation against January submission dates…
@TheGradyConnell I think our go-to is a mixture of cheese & crackers, scorched almonds, dips maybe with sliced veges, in summer perhaps sliced tomato and basil with slices of toasted baguette, in winter perhaps bite sized sausage rolls with chutney.
Best views of the city! We'll ring out the old year, pile onto the roof for bubbles and Christmas tarts and fireworks from the SkyTower across the road, and then ring in the new year!

Lovely morning in the tower yesterday. Last service ringing for the year! We had 9 of us, and rang Plain Hunt, called changes, and Grandsire Doubles.
Reminder there's no practice on Tuesday, and instead we're ringing out the old year from 11pm.
Merry Christmas to all! For your Christmas Day viewing, please enjoy this assortment of ringing from last night's services. Wishing everyone a peaceful and restful Christmas 📷📷📷

Polynesians had settled an area the size of Russia before the British could even cross the English Channel. But the anonymous X accounts of this world insist Polynesian civilisation was primitive.
Kia ora koutou from Tāmaki Makaurau in beautiful Aotearoa! If you want to become a kaitangi pere like me (or even a full blown crazy campanologist also like me) or just a fun group activity, let's kōrero 💕
