@EastMidRailway hello. I have an advance single ticket for the 6:05 Leicester to St Pancras. However, this train is no longer running. Can I get the 6:15 X country and LNER or 6:17 X country and WMR services? Assume tickets are valid on all other operators?
@jamescoogan@DaveH3289@mrjakehumphrey Senna took out a competitor as did Schumacher and he was disqualified in 1997 for trying to do it again. Vettel broke team orders. You need to be ruthless and Max is, he has the potential to break all kinds of records. His consistency is immense.
@wegot6bigears@SkyNews Except west coast travel figures disagree. The west coast mainline is busier than ever and HS2 massively frees up capacity allowing more local services it also supports greater freight use of the WCML helping to achieve sustainable transport solutions.
@StephenTh0704@Lucaswoodland Saw them at slam dunk, gotta do an album with him and a full tour. Always a superb live band, but Matt’s voice has struggled the last few tours, so this is so refreshing seeing them back at full pace.
@kellythe4th@RobertDingley77@SlamDunkMusic You are aware that it’s only in the last 3 years it has switched to fields. Before that it was at the ally pally as give it a name festival. Slam dunk has also been to the NEC (in/out), the civic (mostly in), Leeds city centre (some indoors venues). Don’t reply with nonsense
@jake_Zero5Nine @dannyclives@SlamDunkMusic So is cost better or space? Also the with ticket prices doubling since the switch to outdoor venues how has this worked out better? I’m now paying more to visit a site that potentially on the day I may not be able to attend due to rain… is the festival bigger and better now?
@ChrisDSmyth@DaveDuracell@SlamDunkMusic They would sell out 3 days over a bank holiday and attracted major bands. NEC was inside and out so best or both worlds. Given the weather chances choosing a venue 100% outside and a field seems short sighted.
@Oscar_Dray @RobertDingley77@SlamDunkMusic Appreciate that your intelligence is low. That isn’t the point. They have utilised a number of indoor venues (Civic hall, NEC, Leeds city centre) and these problems don’t exist. No one is requesting they change the venue last minute. It’s all about long term planning.
@dannyclives@SlamDunkMusic If you can’t choose a suitable venue to deal with rain and have plans in place should the weather not be on your side, then maybe they shouldn’t be running festivals. Don’t remember having these problems in the city centre. Profits over people.
@stephenreside@SlamDunkMusic Choose a more suitable venue for the time of the year? A city centre perhaps? A purpose built national exhibition centre? Stop putting profits over the customer experience?
