True Story - Charlie Kirk and the Moon Rainbow.

A few days ago on the evening of 6th October 2025, we went stalking for stags...

It is currently the annual deer rut in Cornwall at Camelot Castle and due to the huge numbers, we need to cull a certain number of deer every year to help out the local farmers whose crops they consume.

It is the best organic venison meat one can buy.

My stalker uses a 30-6 rifle and that evening was no different.

As the evening was coming in, a huge stag presented itself, and was shot with the exact correct bullet placement which is nearly at the thickest part of the animal when side on.

Red deer when full size are huge.

Unsurprisingly (as has happened every single time we have used that rife) the 30-6 rifle round passed straight through the bone and flesh of the Red Deer and a clear exit wound was visible on the other side of the carcass.

This stag was shot at just over 150 yards.

We walked in silence back to the car to get the 4x4 to retrieve the animal.

I looked up a the now night sky and the moon was full.

It was a beautiful evening and I thought about Charlie Kirk and how he had always wanted to come and Hunt with us at Camelot Castle, but how he was always so busy with his purpose and mission in Turning Point and his personal goal to Save his Nation.

Every year since 2018 he had wanted to come and every year for different reasons he could not make it.

There was always a good reason and naturally being good friends, we always understood each other,

"TPUSA needs me to be here."

"We have a country to save."

"We have just lost the election ( in 2020 ), now we really need to work to get our country back."

"Trump needs me, he is under attack from the left and from law-fare here, I just cannot leave the USA".

Then later - in 2024.

"We have just won the election! Now I have to been here to help with transition".

And the odd thing was Charlie was right.

His country did need him.

And he gladly gave of himself to his country.

We only took one holiday together (although we discussed taking many trips) and that was to Charlie's beloved Jerusalem, he so wanted Irina my wife, and I to meet the love of his life Erika when they had first started dating.

And for us to experience his love of the city of Jerusalem where Jesus, his saviour, was born.

All this came back to me as we waited for a stag in that silent evening light, Charlie had always wanted to visit Camelot Castle and to bring his beloved Erika, and now we would not be hunting together.

Charlie had been so confident of coming here that he had even placed a gift for himself here at Camelot, in our safekeeping, at the Castle to be here for him for when he did finally arrive and make it.

So that night with the culled Stag on a Cornish stubble field, I looked up into the sky and marvelled at the new silver moon and indeed I did feel his presence and his love for life and for nature.

I thought to myself, right then, this stag, Charlie, this one is for you.

And at that EXACT moment we saw something that I have never seem before in my life.

Just to the right of the full moon in the light high clouds

We both saw - a Moon Rainbow.

A Moon Rainbow is a very rare effect of the light that one only sees at very special times.

The moonlight refracts on a very thin cloud.

I had never seen one before.

The Moon Rainbow was bright and it contained all the colours of the rainbows spectrum.

My deerstalker and I looked at each other knowingly.

Although we had both had the thought, the words left his lips before they left mine.

"Do you think that's Charlie doing that John?"

Then, at that exact instant of his question I got a text on my phone from an unknown number and it pinged.

I rang the number on the phone, it was an old friend to whom I had not spoken for years.

He is the only person alive that was aware of a positive private matter that Charlie had been involved with. He opened the conversation with:

"John, did that ( private matter ) ever get sorted out?"

I looked at my deerstalker again...

We did not need to say a word we knew.

Coincidence or a spiritual communication?

Either way.

What a night that was.

It does seem to me that the steady confronting and recognition of truth and the exposing of lies when they are apparent, is felt both on earth, as it is in heaven.

I thought that you might appreciate seeing it and that this story might bring some comfort to those who appreciate Charlie Kirk and to those who love him and who miss him deeply.

We are all hurting, but the truth alone shall set us free.
